Upgrade for the same kind(e.g web edition v1 to web edtiion v2) of applicaition is free. Procedure for upgrade is the same as the first installation.

What's new in Flipping book 2.9.0 - desktop edition
Version 2.9.0 Desktop edition offer user friendly features such as: Welcome screen, Favorites, Recent items, Create desktop shortcut, Publish for desktop.
Welcome screen
When you open Flipping book application Welcome screen will appear.
- On the left side welcome screen contains several shortcuts: start new project, open existing project, or starting new project by adding one of the several types of sources, PDF, RSS, Images/SWFs. At the bottom there are several useful links.
- Center area contains Recently used projects.
- Right area contains Favorites projects. To add project to Favorites list use option in the main menu.
Favorites and Recent Items
Favorites and Recent items allow quick access to Favorite or Recently used projects.
- At any time you can add project to Favorites list by pressing .
- To open Favorite project, click on the Favorites on the main menu and choose project to open.
- To remove project from Favorites list, press right click over favorite project and press Remove from favorites.
Favorites list is also shown on the Welcome screen.
Create desktop shortcut
This option is very useful for commonly used project as we can place shortcut on the FWindows desktop.
- To add shortcut press .
- To delete shortcut press mouse right button over the icon and choose delete shortcut option.
Publish for desktop
New version of Flipping book offer Publishing for Desktop.
Note: Full screen mode is not implemented in "Publish For Desktop" Flipping book. Next release will contain this feature.

Use flipping book offline or integrate into third web site.
- Fit to browser viewport
Fit to browser feature is similar to Fullscreen feature, except flipping book stay in the browser viewport.

- Defaults publish settings.
By using default publish settings, publish directory will have the same name as Flipping book file.
- MediaRSS image fitting - for <enclosure> and <media:content> tags
By using option images can be fitted to page width.

- Hand cursor for RSS items links
By using this option it's possible to set Hand or Arrow cursor for items link in the RSS feed.
- Curl page
If you decide to use flipping book without controls, this options is useful in order to inform visitor about page flip feature.
- Initial page configuration and custom page delay
Set first, last or even custom page, to appear on flipping book initialize.
- MediaRSS images supported
To show image from media tag add in the field.
